We sailed on Viking Ocean last year and felt it didn’t live up to the price point. The internet on Viking was so slow it couldn’t be used. Yes, excursions are included, but they aren’t very good and the price for optional excursions is just as high as other lines. Viking’s food was very hit and miss and they are pricier than Oceania. Viking did get us spoiled for smaller ships so that is why we are giving Oceania a try. From reading posts on different boards, I think that people are dissatisfied with many cruise lines. We are paying more for service that isn’t on par to what we received in the past.

That was pretty much our opinion of Viking.  We have no desire to return....especially at their prices!
