Carol28 Posted March 5 #1 Share Posted March 5 I thought dinner in Chops was an amenity for suite guests on the first night. Am I wrong? I just saw my calendar as we just checked in and we do not have a dinner in a specialty on the first night. I always book a specialty restaurant on the first night if we aren't on one of the larger ships where the Coastal Kitchens are. Please let me know. ship_cat_2018 Posted March 5 #2 Share Posted March 5 do you have a dinning package ? otherwise I wouldn't know why you should get a free specialty restaurant. which ship are you referring to ? this is what RCG website says: Star tier guests receive complimentary specialty dining throughout their entire cruise as well as access to the exclusive suite restaurant, Coastal Kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sky tier guests receive access to the exclusive suite restaurant, Coastal Kitchen, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
bigmoose7563 Posted March 5 #3 Share Posted March 5 Very wrong. You must be confused with breakfast in Chops as the suite perk on smaller ships.
Cruise a holic Posted March 5 #4 Share Posted March 5 Never got a free dinner- nor lunch in SP restaurant and we always sail in suites-with a good TA, they might give you a free lunch or dinner in a sp restaurant as a perk. Enjoy your cruise.

We always call room service and order dinner from the MDR menu on the first night and have a nice relaxing meal on our balcony. One of the nicer perks of being in a suite on smaller ships.
