Mimi Larue--aka "scary diving lady"

Recommended Posts

So on our Freedom Meet & Mingle thread, we've been discussing this new "interesting artwork" in the Freedom promenade. Someone had mentioned that the artwork was taking a turn towards "campy". Maybe this artwork is supposed to be similar to the "photographer lady" out on the deck on Mariner. (She is on Mariner, isn't she?) Anyway, since we kept referring to her as "scary diving lady"--someone had mentioned that the kids might be scared of a massive alien lady diving towards them (you hit the nail on the head Tim)--one of our group members mentioned that we should give her a name(good idea Scott!). So another one of our group members (thanks Brandi!) came up with a great one: Mimi Larue. :D I love it! And I think it fits her so well. Does anyone else think this is a great name for her, or should we keep referring to her as "scary diving lady"?

When looking at the new Freedom of the Seas artwork, (diving lady), i had this deja vu moment of being on a Carnival ship and seeing all of those Joe Farcus' designs.

Don't much care for it.
