Knickearth Posted April 1 #1 Share Posted April 1 We are leaving soon and received so much obc that we did not gat a package. My husband would like to know if there is a coffee only package. Further, what items can we trade the mini fridge for? thanks for the responses.
jean-lynd Posted April 1 #2 Share Posted April 1 There is no coffee only package. I've never had mini fridge items so I don't have that answer.
Rare karatemom2 Posted April 1 #3 Share Posted April 1 (edited) There is no stand alone coffee package, so his options would be just to pay as he goes or for you both to purchase the Plus package. The mini fridge is empty unless you are Elite or in a Suite. If you are, you can trade your mini bar set up for 20 alternate items - beer, soda, water, etc. Not coffee though. Since you have so much OBC, you could always use it to buy the package once you board if it makes sense for you. If not, you can just use your OBC to pay for what you consume on an alacarte basis - just paying for the beverages or other items you purchase. That’s what we do - it works well for us. We also generally have significant OBC with casino cash, shareholder’s benefit, etc. Edited April 1 by karatemom2
Knickearth Posted April 1 Author #4 Share Posted April 1 Thanks for info. It helps. We are maybe one coffee a day and maybe one glass of wine a day. We don’t do the casual dining nor specialty desserts. We try to eat meals like we do at home.
skynight Posted April 1 #5 Share Posted April 1 If you are in a full suite or are elite loyalty status then you will receive a mini bar set up. This recently included 8 x 50ml spirits, 2 bottles or cans of beer, 2 Perrier water, 2 non sparkling waters, 2 cans tonic, 2 cans Coke, 2 Cans Diet Coke. This can vary, but it's always 10 alcoholic and 10 non alcoholic beverages. Any item can be exchanged for a non alcoholic item. Any alcoholic item can be exchanged for a different alcoholic item. The entire mini bar can be exchanged for a bottle of wine. You call room service to exchange. Free coffee is available all day at the Horizon Ct. It was Lavazza coffee on our recent cruise. You can also purchase brewed coffee at the I.C. along with other specialty drinks. Believe brewed coffee was somewhere around $2.50. Specialty coffees are in the $4/$5 range. No more coffee packages.
