Lee117five0 Posted April 12 #1 Share Posted April 12 (edited) Hey folks. Sorry for the stupid question... Off on Iona tomorrow and I was just planning on parking at the multistory car park at West Quay since we're staying in the premier inn tonight. My partner though is a worrier. She's paranoid that you can't park for a week at the car park because it no longer has a rate for it on the car park website. Can anyone confirm that they've done so recently and/or planning on parking there this week? And what the rate is for the week. Many thanks Lee Edited April 12 by Lee117five0 Add additional info
majortom10 Posted April 12 #2 Share Posted April 12 There were rumours that they had stopped it but it was incorrect and you can still park there but personally wouldn't leave my car in a car park open to general public.

It says 4+ hours £6. Doesn't hat mean you get charged £6 for every 24 hour period?

If your in doubt Simply take your car out tomorrow as you will have parked well over 4 hours from today ,that way you will know for sure .
Fionboard Posted April 12 #7 Share Posted April 12 I have used it for a cruise. Probably safer than some hotel carparks as you need your ticket to open barriers. Everywhere has some risk though.

Many thanks Lee The Premier Inn at West quay Harbour parade actually advise their guests you can park there while cruising. It is £6 per night. We have parked there with no issues for several cruises. Your car registration is recognised and is on your parking ticket. I hope you have an amazing cruise on Iona. Harryjacobs Posted April 13 #9 Share Posted April 13 I have parked there twice now and will continue to do so. Great value and more secure than leaving it a hotel car park for a week.
