Galan32 Posted April 14 #1 Share Posted April 14 Hello On our last voyage with Crystal we were sent info by snail mail along with luggage tags. We have received our etickets and info in our online account, and I was wondering if Crystal sends out luggage tags/more info as they did years ago. Thanks, Gary
Rare ryndam Posted April 14 #2 Share Posted April 14 Unless the protocol has recently changed, luggage tags are distributed on the pier by the shoreside porters. The only information that gets written on the tags is your cabin number, in a big, black (or red) marker. Easy peasy. Takes less than 60 seconds (unless you're traveling with an overabundance of luggage!). Rob

USCAdventurer Posted April 15 #4 Share Posted April 15 My cruise is May 9, 2024. When should I be receiving ticketing information and where do I find it in my account?

David, when the ticket information is added to "my account" you will find it under the tab titled reservation documents. As to luggage tags I was told but have not followed up that they were going back to mailing them to your home. That was the case early on but it stopped later last year. Has anyone who has recently sailed gotten them at home? Regardless, as Rob said they will be available at the pier. Keith

I bring mine though just in case there is an issue with phone. Keith

dimundsR Posted May 9 #12 Share Posted May 9 Just wanted to add my recent experience with Luggage Forward. I virtually had hands-free travel to get to Athens from the States having shipped my luggage. I'm a positive person and just knew that when I arrived in my room on Symphony, my 2 pieces would be there, and tra la, there they were on the bed to greet me when I entered. I have the return shipping labels ready to attach when I leave the ship In Barcelona. I followed all the directions and the luggage was never opened for customs inspection in Athens. The zip ties were still intact. Very happy with this service. Yes, I would recommend them!
ccbee Posted May 12 #13 Share Posted May 12 We are staying at the Pan Pacific in Vancouver and the Bell Captain takes care of delivering our bags to the pier. He will probably have a whole load of bags he is delivering so won't have specific bag info for the porters. Without accss to luggage tags, how would you suggest we identify our luggage for the Porters.

Before leaving home I make up my own tags that say Crystal Serenity, Your first and last name and your Suite/Room Number. The hotel might have some kind of generic tag you can use so I would check at the bell desk about that when you arrive. Keith

JusttheTwoofUs Posted May 17 #16 Share Posted May 17 Hi, ccbee, I think you are staying at the Pan Pacific in Vancouver and the bell captain will handle your bags to the pier. Is Pan Pacific walking distance to dock or does Pan Pacific provide shuttle service? Phyllis
skybluewaters Posted May 17 #17 Share Posted May 17 The Pan Pacific is connected to the cruise terminal (Canada Place).
