Info needed for transportation from LAX to Long Beach hotel......

For our cruise on the Ecstasy we will be arriving a day early and staying at the Westin Long Beach. I know a taxi will be about $50-60. Is there a cheaper, better alternative?

Also what about transportation from Long Beach Pier to LAX? I know Carnival has transfers but they too seem a little pricey

We live in Long BEach and I believe the supershuttle.com is on $45 for 2. You can go online and check their prices. LAX is only about 20 miles from Long Beach Cruise Terminal. You will love the Long Beach terminal as it is the old "Spruce Goose" hangar and also sits next door to the Queen Mary and the Scorpian Submarine.

We used [url="http://www.hudsonltd4.com/cgi-bin/ptla1/res"]Prime Time Shuttle[/url]. I think they might be slightly cheaper than supershuttle. Also, you get a discount for booking and pre-paying online.
