My quandary: I want to book now, as exactly what I want is available, but will also be on board Memorial day do might get better deal with Mday sale and/or onboard booking credit- but desired cabin might be gone. Rare morpheusofthesea Posted May 7 #4 Share Posted May 7 If you really want to be a 'happy camper/cruiser' get a MSC knowledgeable travel agent that gives a UP TO 10% rebate in the form of extra refundable on board credit. We booked a future cruise date we did not really want because of the offer on board of unlimited no charge changes, one year (not 90 days forward) and $200 OBC. The FCC sent to booking directly to our TA to make sure we got all the other voyager club/military discounts off the fare. Our TA said that the MSC representative never heard of this new on board promotion so we had the FCC send this following addendum: " Here are the terms and conditions in writing for MSC's booking department. "The Future Cruises Program (also hereinafter referred to as “FCP”) is available exclusively to guests while sailing on a MSC Cruise. As we value our relationships with our travel partners, your Future Cruise booking will be attributed to the travel partner associated with your current cruise booking, or to the MSC Cruises Contact Centre if the current booking was made directly through MSC Cruises. The confirmation of the booking and the onboard accommodation is subject to availability at the time of the booking. The Future Cruise Program applies only to bookings 3 nights or longer and requires the payment of an initial deposit to be paid on board according to the applicable Booking Terms and Conditions. Please note that the present FCP terms and conditions apply to new Future Cruise Bookings made on or after March 1st, 2023. Unless otherwise specifically indicated or modified herein, the MSC Booking Terms and Conditions apply in full. Agreed- it is finding the "MSC knowledgeable travel agent that gives...on board credit' I've asked a few friends and their TA's give nothing.
