IUSteve Posted May 9 #1 Share Posted May 9 Curious to hear about people’s recent experiences with the Sun Princess Reserve dining room. One or two early reviews I read suggested disappointment. Typically any wait for a table? Service good? Food good?
candycaramel Posted May 11 #2 Share Posted May 11 Hi. I am still seeking clarification as to which mini-suites include The Reserve private dining room? Which ones are considered premium location? Do all the mini-suites including regular mini suites, cabana ms and cabana deck mini suites include The Reserve dining room? If so, will this continue with the 2025 sailings? The Reserve dining room is still showing on the 2025 deck plans.

After Oct 15 there will no longer be a reserve category. There will be cabins labeled sanctuary mini suite or sanctuary suite (C1 and C2 are not included). It has not been determined yet how the reserve dining room will be used. Edited May 11 by t&atravel

M followed by a numerous and C followed by a number are the Reserve minis and cabana minis. M or C followed by a letter, not Reserve. Deck plan clearly shows which are Reserve and which are not. After mid Oct, 2024 - all the Reserve Minis (M) will switch to Sanctuary Club. The current Reserve Cabana do not switch to Sanctuary Club, they become Cabana Deck Minis, and don't include Reserved dining but donl include the Cabana deck access. If you booked your Reserve Cabana Cabin before April 23, 2024 - you have all the perks included at the time of booking, including Reserve dining... Confusing as heck and dumb to make changes less than 2 months after setting sail that take place months later, and aren't all that clear (seriously, why not just launch it that way, it's not like they dreamed it up in the 6 weeks the ship was sailing!) - but there you go...Sun Princess in a nutshell, lol..

Since no one provided any first hand information in response to this query, I'll do so now after having just sailed on Sun Princess. The Reserve Dining Room was SUPERB. Every dish and every meal was great, waits were minimal, and the service was top-notch. With Princess now fooling around with room categories, it would be a strong disincentive to me to sail that ship again if I did not have access to the Reserve Dining Room.
