stan01 Posted May 15 #1 Share Posted May 15 Do QM2 Q4 suites come with any additional services other than the larger suite, when compared to a Q5/Q6? We are considering an upgrade bid. We know the room is larger and has a defined separate sleeping area as well as the separate shower. Are there other Q4 benefits such as different service from the butler or different service or preferred seating in the Queens Grill?
e&mcruise Posted May 16 #2 Share Posted May 16 Short answer is no there is no difference other than the cabin itself. 🙂
exlondoner Posted May 16 #3 Share Posted May 16 Priority Tendering. Not likely to be useful mid Atlantic.
Wagtail adventures Posted May 16 #4 Share Posted May 16 (edited) Do they give the Penhaligan's fragrance kit to Q4s? Or is that for higher categories? Edited to add: be cautious, in case you are 'fortunate' enough to be bumped up into a Q3... Edited May 16 by Wagtail adventures
Rare s.s.France Posted May 16 #5 Share Posted May 16 Usually the grades above Q5 get preferred tables in the Queens Grill dining room, but thats inofficial and up to the maitre d´. Most probably you wont end up in the dark corner.
BigMac1953 Posted May 16 #6 Share Posted May 16 On boarding you get an escort to your room. Every morning the butler delivers the newspapers on an ipad. You have your own dining table and 4 chairs. There are stairs into the bath. It's exactly 50% bigger than Q5/6/
stan01 Posted May 16 Author #7 Share Posted May 16 Thanks, the current minimum offer price for the upgrade is $275/person per day so I think we'll pass and stay with the Q5. Also it looks like the aft QM2 Q4s have partially blocked views to the back since the Q1s bump out (so you get closer to a 90 degree forward field of view not 180 degrees). BigMac1953 Posted May 16 #8 Share Posted May 16 We had a Q4 nearer the stern. The view was fine. Remember the balcony is extra wide:
techteach Posted May 16 #9 Share Posted May 16 Love the Q4 balcony, large table and chairs for dining, and the extra bathroom. $275./pp per night worth of love? Maybe not. 1

Curious is the norm for Conard to quote the price Per Person PER DAY on their upgrade program? All other cruise ships it is just a per person upgrade bid. I'm still 5 months before my first Cunard cruise.

I did the math myself to help me figure out whether it was worth it. 1

Solo passengers therefore need to double the quote to get to the charged amount (as is made clear in the email from Plusgrade).

Per person for the entire cruise is definitely worth it!
