Anchor Light Posted May 21 #28 Share Posted May 21 That is very strange. My viewing of post #23 definitely shows the email address as a dot, not a comma as is shown in post #24?? So possibly not a fat fingers issue after all! "The CEO recognised this expiry issue in her webinar. If you lost nights and it was due to the lack of communication I’d suggest you contact the Loyalty team - the new director is Erin ODonnell. Her email was included in the webinar email (erin.odonnell@azamara.com) and the message in the webinar was very much please tell us your issues and concerns"
MamaFej Posted May 21 #29 Share Posted May 21 11 hours ago, Grandma Cruising said: You have to make a booking using the free nights within a year of reaching a level - here’s the quote from the website FAQs. Complimentary nights must be used on a new booking made within 12 months following the sailing when the new level was reached. Thanks. yes, I do see that. I was mostly wondering how strict that policy is, especially given all the changes that were happening at the time we hit the points threshold. Also, since most of our points were earned on Celebrity, I imagine it's likely a moot point, though I did not see that caveat still listed when this thread inspired me to go look again. As for "Clear as mud," I see where @Ayden is coming from. Thanks to all.

I did and had my problems/questions addressed re the "free nights" and my Discoverer + status. 2
Rare Stem to Stern Posted May 24 #31 Share Posted May 24 (edited) Three days ago, I emailed Loyalty asking about our four complimentary nights that recently passed the twelve-month mark for redemption. I received a nearly immediate reply indicating that Azamara would absolutely honor our complimentary nights. Today our travel agent emailed our revised invoice for our recent booking which reflected the discount for the complimentary nights along with all other original discounts. Not too shabby. Thank you Azamara and @uktog for encouraging Azamara Circle Members to raise their concerns. Edited May 24 by Stem to Stern 8
Mackdogmolly Posted May 24 #32 Share Posted May 24 @Stem to Stern, would you mind giving out the email address for Loyalty again? Did you book through a TA?

I just got a response from Erin and she said that they will apply the 4 free nights to the cruise I requested! She said she would send a confirmation when it is done. And I imagine that I will get a new invoice from my TA. I am very happy!!

Rare tonyl1956 Posted July 7 #39 Share Posted July 7 I know this is a slightly old thread, but does anyone know whether the complimentary nights, when taken, contribute loyalty points themselves towards the next level? For example, if I book a 16 night cruise with two free nights in a Veranda cabin, will I receive 80 points or 70 points for that cruise? I can't find that info anywhere in the FAQ on the website. Thanks

Thanks I'm pretty sure that you get the complete no of points, (i.e. 80) regardless of the fact that some of those are 'free' nights.

I just became able to see my points online, after all those years, and at least 20 phone conversations and IT “escalations”. I have no idea how it happened, finally someone at Azamara took pity on me and clicked the right button!
cruiseaholic78 Posted July 15 #43 Share Posted July 15 (edited) Based on info on this thread I also contacted Erin, she replied that even though my time for (complimentary) nights had long passed she would honor it for a new booking. She said my TA would have to be willing to apply it to my present booking (January) and they were. I now have four free nights which sweetens a little the pain of flights from Europe to New Zealand which are way more expensive than the cruise! So thanks to you all for your positive posts here about Erin all we need now is to get a Bonnie back! Edited July 15 by cruiseaholic78

Billy Butlin Posted July 15 #45 Share Posted July 15 Can I ask when your Loyalty Points are added as the points I earn on my next cruise will take me up a level. It would be nice if they were allocated on board as I could then take advantage of the additional tier benefits, as well as utilize my free nights in conjunction with an onboard future cruise booking bonus. Thank You

Thank You We moved up to Discoverer Plus during our immediately previous cruise. I am not sure whether all tier benefits were applied to everything, but we certainly benefitted from the transition on the first day of the cruise when booking our next cruises. Future Cruise Sales staff assume that you will complete your current cruise, and, therefore, progression to the next tier is inevitable.
