IAcruising Posted May 26 #2 Share Posted May 26 Personal experience, I have never walked by the gym and saw more than a few people using it. That said, being awake at 6-7:00 am is beyond my comprehension.

I run 2 miles every morning then ride a bike 15-20 miles 4 days a week and lift weights 2x a week. Not sure I can go a week without exercising. I'm mid 60's, my BP is 120/70, my heart rate is 58 and my BMI is 22.7.
SomewhereGirl Posted May 26 #4 Share Posted May 26 Never been to Pulse on the Star, but have been on other NCL ships. I go right when it opens at 6, get there even a few minutes early and there's usually a handful of people waiting. I only go for 30 minutes but it's never been too crowded when I leave (like still <20 people). I suppose it depends on what equipment you want to use. tashaaa Posted May 27 Author #5 Share Posted May 27 thank you all for your responses 🙂 I guess we don't have to wake up sooo early.
Rare Huntingdon1701 Posted May 27 #6 Share Posted May 27 Unusually, it was often packed on my last cruise on the Star (March), especially on the sea days - to the point that you couldn't get in. The afternoons of port days were very quiet, but still relatively busy in the first couple of hours. But like everyone else, I've normally found the gyms empty on most cruises.
