We missed our first port in Belgium because of an extremely low tide. We were told on that day we would port in Amsterdam (the next day's port) late that afternoon, but did not and the reason given was "rough seas". But again, we never felt them.

No, sorry for the misunderstanding.

 

We missed the port in Belgium for an extremely low tide. It was announced that on the day that Belgium was originally scheduled we would go to Amsterdam IIRC at 4 PM. That is what got cancelled for rough seas. I sort of remember we did get to Amsterdam about 8 PM, but I don't think they let anyone disembark.

 

The next day was our scheduled Amsterdam day, and we did go there. Again, sorry for the misunderstanding.

We have booked Heathrow Marriott for 2 nts. We figure we’ll taxi to Windsor for a few hours our 1 full day there. We hired a orivate car/driver who has advised an 8:15am pick up to get us to the port around 10am.
