Given the current climate in nassau would you recommend walking to john watlings and greycliff hotel with a small group? I know things are always a little sketchy but the latest news has me questioning our plans.

Graycliff is pretty close. Walked it a few times. If you are aware enough to walk around any decent sized US city, broad daylight in Nassau should be a no brainer for you. If you are afraid to walk decent sized US cities I would pony up for a cab.

My only concern would be if anyone in your group has mobility issues.  The sidewalks to Graycliff and Watling's distillery are narrow and in places steep.
