marktwothousand Posted July 13 #1 Share Posted July 13 Would I be able to make a 3 PM at LHR after a Virtuosa cruise? I heard debark can take 2 hours. Would I have to hire a car or would train still be viable with that time constraint? Thanks
schildiams Posted July 13 #2 Share Posted July 13 (edited) Also interested to know. we have 2:45 pm but off the Preziosa in the YC. Edited July 13 by schildiams
Rare gnome12 Posted July 13 #3 Share Posted July 13 (edited) In both cases the day of the week (and the actual date) could be important information. Edited July 13 by gnome12

The train is not a particularly practicable option between Southampton and Heathrow. That's assuming that your cruises arrive at Southampton, given that the only clues are the rather Delphic "Virtuosa" and "Preziosa". It's also important information to know when the ships are scheduled to arrive.
marktwothousand Posted July 13 Author #5 Share Posted July 13 Hi all. So this would be arrival on a Friday at 7 AM. Would it be too tight to make The 9:30 national express bus to LHR?

Last week we were off Virtuosa and in a taxi by 8.30.🙂 MSC allocate disembarkation times in 15 minute tranches between about 7.00am & 9.00am. If you're allocated a late slot, go to guest services on Deck 5 and ask for an earlier slot (and fresh baggage labels to suit), citing your onward transportation. No worries JB 🙂
sddsddean Posted July 14 #7 Share Posted July 14 MSC usually uses the Horizon terminal. You could walk it to the coach station in 20 mins, or grab a cab for a 5 minute ride. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/50.9024995,-1.418187/50.9058847,-1.4091922/@50.904632,-1.4163885,697m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m2!4m1!3e2?entry=ttu Simon
