Hotels in Mestre

Does anyone have any hotel suggestions for Maestre when visiting Venice?

There are a few large modern hotels directly across the street from Mestre train station.  It's a convenient location if you plan on visiting Venice by train or bus or if you're taking the train to Trieste or Ravenna to meet your cruise.  Also, the ATVO airport express bus drops off at Mestre station if you're arriving to Marco Polo Airport.

We've stayed at Best Western Hotel Bologna and would do so again if the opportunity arose again.  The roms are comfortable, breakfast very good, staff very helpful, and convenient to the train into Venice.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Mestra is right across the river from Venice.  You can catch the local bus from the airport - the stop is right by the hotel.  You can also catch a bus there into Venice.

We stayed at the Plaza. Directly across the street from the train station. Reasonable, clean and super convenient.
