Buying an annual travel insurance policy

Recommended Posts

I have a few  cruises coming up this year. Most of them are Caribbean cruises that are less expensive. Was looking at going with the premier plan. I am doing a cruise from Rome next year also so may need a little more coverage for that. Do you know if you can ask (and pay) for more coverage for one particular cruise.

Also, just curious, do you tell them when you have a trip planned?

Thanks,

We book a yearly with Allianz, you do not tell them when or where you go, have never heard of “extra”:coverage for one trip with a yearly plan.

You can buy all kinds of duplicate insurance but if you have a claim, you will probably have to file a claim with all of them and wait for it to be sorted out.

If you are asking can you buy a policy with adjustable limits, I tend to think not.

I'm doing exactly just that!  Buying a yearly plan from Travel Insured International for my next 3 cruises but the 3rd one is to the Mediterranean so going to use the same company and add trip cancellation and trip interruption just for that cruise.
