Jules1 Posted March 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2006 Just wondering if binoculars are provided - we're booked in an SC on the Oosterdam. It'd be one less thing that we'd have to pack if they are provided in the cabin.
Budget Queen Posted March 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2006 No, bring your own. If going to Alaska, and you want the chance for marine wildlife, you need wide angle. My preference are my 10x50's for Alaska overall.
seadrifter Posted March 28, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2006 There were binoculars provided in our deluxe verandah cabin on the Oosterdam Mexican Riviera cruise we took Jan/Feb. We had brought our own but it was nice that DH and I could each use binoculars at the same time. I guess it depends on the cabin category whether binoculars are provided or not. seadrifter Posted March 28, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 28, 2006 I should have stated in my previous post that we had an SC also. Enjoy your Alaska cruise and the wonderful Oosterdam. Happy cruising, Virginia
bepsf Posted March 28, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 28, 2006 Yes, All Deluxe Suite catgegories have binoculars provided in their staterooms - as well as umbrellas which come in handy in Alaska!:)
