New Trans Tasman Ferries - Update

Thanks for the video, very interesting, however I was expecting to see a new ferry between AU & NZ, which is what "trans Tasman" means!

The SOT is trans Bass Strait.

It's really been a monumental stuff up. Not just the ships but also the expanded port at Devonport to fit the larger ships, which now won't be ready when the new ships arrive.

From what I have been reading in The Mercury they are all sorts of trouble.  Still being sued for the deaths of 16 polo ponies who died enroute to Melbourne.  Also problems over the sinking of two Tassie tugs a year or so ago.
