JGB Posted August 23 #1 Share Posted August 23 When I booked my cruise I included gratuity for 2 final payment is due at this time I have payed for the entire cruise plus gratuity for one. If it shows as an outstanding balance, then yes, I believe it is subject to cancellation. There's really no reason to pre-pay gratuities, other than it's one less thing to worry about. They'll automatically be added to your Sail and Sign account on the next to last day of the cruise, which will of course then be charged to your credit card (assuming you link your account to a credit card). You can take those gift cards to cust service after boarding & have them added to your S&S acct. That way you can get your 10% discount on ALL your on board spending including your gratuities.
