Either I’m drunk or someone flipped this ship around while I wasn’t looking. Skywalkers has disappeared on me…

Chicken wings and some mystery empanada things tonight in elite lounge. Desserts were mini Oreo cheesecakes

Love the food pics. On Discovery the casino host offered a specialty dinner, but I couldn't get the Steakhouse (all booked up), so I reluctantly accepted Sabatini's and am so glad I did. It was terrific. The Veal Osso Buco was the highlight.

In the future when the casino abuses me, but I offered a "free" specialty dinner my first choice will be Sabatini's.

Once upon a time, Sapphire and Diamond had unique menus in each of the four midship dining rooms, and the specialty of  Vivaldi was the osso buco.  Eventually that changed to each dining room having one exclusive dish, and if you asked nicely (and knew to) you could get it in the other three.  Alas.

Now the secret is that said osso buco makes an appearance on Discovery on Italian theme night in the World Fresh Marketplace.  Risotto and all.

Oh thanks! I was at trivia lol. Maybe tomorrow night 🙂

@talkorpi, how are you doing at Trivia? I was on the previous 14 day roundtrip YVR sailing 8/31-9/14. I was fortunate to team up with the #1 most traveled couple who have close to 2200 days and are still on the ship and will finally be disembarking in SF. I will guess their team has probably won every trivia as they are Trivia Masters. They usually do general knowledge, not any of the music or other theme trivia. Many times we said to give the prize to 2nd as we do not want any more wine stoppers, string backpacks, coasters, or notebooks. I started playing trivia so my brain cells get some activity, being retired for a few years.

The Emerald in August had some ‘new’ prizes that are not yet available on the Sapphire which are a nice canvas tote bag and a beach towel. Heard there is also a new prize choice on Discovery. I will find out in January.

Oh What A Night…closed down the ship! Drinking, dancing, and horizontal dancing to top it all off. In 3 days, I feel as if half of the ship knows me. I’m constantly getting folks saying “oh, hi again!” …or “oh you’re (insert my name)…” and I have to smile and nod and pretend I remember…

Not great, lol. But the winners have all been pretty much perfect so far. I got 18/20 last time thinking that might do it but one team got all 20… that’s probably who you were talking about!

The prize for that one was a metal water bottle with the sea witch logo on it. I’ve never seen that as a prize before. Was pretty neat.

Yes, I would bet, it’s the team I suspect. Oh, I forgot about the blue metal water bottle. It has been around for some time, previous rendition was a larger blue plastic bottle. Another prize is the bottle of ‘fizz’. Many would agree it’s not worth drinking, but I have known a few that will mix it with some juice.
