Ocean View Rooms

This will only be our second cruise.  We are planning an Alaskan cruise Sept 2025.  My question is what are the ocean view rooms like as far as motion, being closer to the bottom.  First cruise we had a balcony.  TIA

 As far as motion goes mid ship is usually better.

The lower the better in terms of motion but you should be fine anywhere in Alaska.

Agree, but if OP is cruising from Seattle that may make a difference.
