Cost of can soda

The cost of the non-alcoholic drink package is $20 a day. What is the cost of a can of soda? If I get 4 sodas a day, I don't think I can justify the package.

On recent US sailings a can of soda was $3.50, they used to be $3.25 from the minibar but that may have gone up.

 

Non alcoholic covers much more than soda.

Thank you. I don't drink any of the others on the list. So, if I only have soda, I would need about 5 a day to break even.

I opted out of the drink package because I mostly drink Dr Pepper (max 3 per day but not normally that many) and maybe two strawberry daquiris (either virgin or regular) during the cruise.

You don't say ship or sailing, but once you are onboard you can easily bring back sodas from a port of call and you won't be stopped.  There's a giant Mega mart in Cozumel, but any port will have sodas for "normal-ish" six pack prices.  Enjoy!

Morgsmom--I asked Customer Service if I could bring any sodas on during embarkation and they told me it wasn't allowed. Are you sure they can be brought aboard at a port of call?

 

Also, when you first board on embarkation day, are you allowed to drop off luggage in your cabin?

 

I'm sailing on the Meraviglia in October.

You are NOT allowed to bring any sodas on board when you embark from the original port.  Not sure if you can bring them on board at ports of call.
