chrisib284 Posted November 4 #1 Posted November 4 Hi, I'm looking for a little help as I have scoured the internet, tour sites etc and I cannot seem to find an answer. I am flying into Tenerife (will land on a Friday at 12 Lunch time and boarding the P&O Azura which is in port overnight (leaves late Sat). I wanted to do either a Star Gazing Tenerife tour or similar with the Observatory. Is it possible to get a tour from Santa Cruz, if so can you help me out with any details? Thanks, Chris

Rare Harters Posted November 9 #3 Posted November 9 As mentioned, your best bet will be a tour from Puerto, about a 30 minute taxi ride away. I'm assuming that you are coming from the UK and will be landing at Tenerife South. Bear in mind, when checking tour times, etc, that it's about an hour from there to Santa Cruz. A quick Google found this link about tours from Puerto. https://blog.volcanoteide.com/en/teide-tours-from-puerto-de-la-cruz-options-and-prices#teide-tours-puerto-de-la-cruz-night
chrisib284 Posted November 11 Author #4 Posted November 11 Thank you for the replies. I did figure it would need to tour from another location - I can't find a viable shuttle method to get to either the south or the Puerto that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I could get a bus to Puerto or even Las Americas, but I can't see how I would get home other than taxi. I think the only way to make this work, would be a self drive, and pick up a tour near the summit. So looking at locations to park the car over night as the out of office return time seems to be double.
