A New Twist on an Old Question...

Let's just say for the sake of it... that you booked a guar OV and got an 8b balcony or some really great upgrade. Then you decide you would like to go from your 8 (that they gave you) to an 11 or 12. Do you pay the difference between 8 and 11 (assuming they have one available) or would you pay for the OV to the 11 difference?

You pay the difference between what you paid and what the going rate is on what you want to book. If you switch from your cabin, you basically are back in the guarantee pool... they don't give you credit for something you didn't pay for ;)
