Would the ship leave you in a foreign country?

On our European cruise last year...We took the excursion that takes the bus into Paris from Le Havre....someone missed the bus coming back to the ship and the ship left without them....this lady's sister was beside herself that her sister wanted to stay longer at The Louvre and thought she could make it to the bus on time.....needless to say...the 3 hour trip back to the ship, the lady was crying and we saw her later on the ship and said that she didn't know where her sister was (since no cell phone contact and didn't know of anyone to email)....hopefully they connected back in London. I'm assuming that if the WHOLE bus was late, the cruise ship would have waited and searched, but since she missed the bus on her own, then they didn't feel the need to look!:eek:

So make your rides, people or you will be left behind no matter who they are booked thru!

Again it is a situation where people believe that the rules don't apply to them. The ship definitely would not leave the whole tour that was booked through the cruiseline and if that had been the case the ship would have waited. But if you are stupid enough to ignore the time to board the bus or the ship you get what you deserve.
