Wine on POA

First of all, I realize this question is common. Does NCL go through your luggage to make sure no Wine is brought on board? It seems to be a privacy issue to me but I know they want to protect their revenues.

Secondly, are the prices of wine on board reasonable?

In answer to your first question - not exactly. One of the benefits of homeland security is all bags are scanded prior to loading on the ship. If they happen to see what appears as wine/liquour the bags are set in a room onboard and you will have to open it to make sure of the contents. So they don't go through your bag , you do :) 50/50 shot of getting it onboard. They do return it at the end of the cruise.

No idea of the pricing on POA.
