Has the Crown been sold?

Crown has been sold to UK-based Fred. Olsen Cruises, but leased back to NCL to finish her announced cruises through the fall of 2007. After that, she will received a major refit (more single cabins, a F.O. trademark) and go off to a new career under a patriotic British name! It's the best possible fate for her, much better than becoming a glorified gambling boat for Star.

Just to add a little to the above, since we just got off the Crown...Captain Emil Holthe stated that Fred Olsen will formally take legal possession of the Crown sometime in August. She will continue to fulfill her Bermuda obligations through the 2007 season under a lease back agreement.
