best snorkel spots?

Can anyone suggest any good places to go snorkelling on your own.

The snorkel park was my favorite. But, go early or wait until later in the afternoon. By all means, wear aqua sox because it's very rocky.

Anywhere you can get into the water safely is a good bet. Find a public beach and off you go.

 

Do not snorkel in Hamilton Harbour or the Camber in Dockyard. Always take a buddy for safety.
