Which airport?

 

From George Bush (IAH) it is about 1-1/2 to 2 hours, depending on traffic.

From Hobby (HOU) it is about 45 minutes to an hour.

 

Cost depends on the route you take, whether it be taxi (expensive), limo, shuttle service, rental car, etc.

If we land at Hobby at 1 p.m. we should comfortably make a 4 p.m. sailing all things being equal.(it is a saturday sailing)

Actually, I'm a part-time limo driver and I make the cruise terminal from Hobby Airport in about 40-45 minutes. IAH I can do in about 75-80 minutes. You should have no problem making your cruise.

Since I live in the area, I have no experience with this service, but the Houston Chronicle a week or so ago had an ad for Coach USA offering shuttle/bus service from Hobby Airport to the cruise terminal for $39/pp round trip. This is a limited time discount off their regular $59/pp fee and the booking code is "save20".
