lgbteacher Posted July 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 13, 2006 If you booked your flight through Carnival they have a bus that will transport you to the port. Good luck!
wrp96 Posted July 13, 2006 #4 Share Posted July 13, 2006 Which airport? From George Bush (IAH) it is about 1-1/2 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. From Hobby (HOU) it is about 45 minutes to an hour. Cost depends on the route you take, whether it be taxi (expensive), limo, shuttle service, rental car, etc.
JGB Posted July 13, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted July 13, 2006 Thank you If we land at Hobby at 1 p.m. we should comfortably make a 4 p.m. sailing all things being equal.(it is a saturday sailing) John
houstoncruisers2001 Posted July 14, 2006 #6 Share Posted July 14, 2006 Actually, I'm a part-time limo driver and I make the cruise terminal from Hobby Airport in about 40-45 minutes. IAH I can do in about 75-80 minutes. You should have no problem making your cruise.
clearlakecruisers Posted July 15, 2006 #7 Share Posted July 15, 2006 Since I live in the area, I have no experience with this service, but the Houston Chronicle a week or so ago had an ad for Coach USA offering shuttle/bus service from Hobby Airport to the cruise terminal for $39/pp round trip. This is a limited time discount off their regular $59/pp fee and the booking code is "save20". Their number is 1-800-479-5287 and they state to either contact your travel agent or www.bookcoachusa.com. Good luck!
