tvtd4u Posted July 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2006 Hey help me out. Staying in Vancouver for 24 hours before an Alaskan cruise at the end of September. What is a good hotel to stay? Want to use the Trolley to check things out the day prior and the morning of the cruise. But what is a good area for my wife and myself? Thanks,
grouchy Posted July 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2006 stay. Try Priceline and you might get the Hyatt etc... for agreat price. http://www.betterbidding.com is a good place to start. Or if you want to just book your own-Hyatt,Wall Centre,Fairmont,Pan Pacific,For Seasons. Along Robson-Pacific Pallasades.
SkyGuy747 Posted July 16, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 16, 2006 We always choose the Fairmont Waterfront. It's right accross the street from the cruise terminal and the bellman will arrange to have your bags taken right from your room to your ship. It makes the embarkation process a real pleasure. There are cheaper places to stay, not much further away though, if cost is a concern. We work on the principal that the extra bucks for the night are worth it for the convenience and the "start your vacation off on the right foot" factor.
