JanineM Posted July 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2006 We live just a couple of miles south of Port Canaveral. There seem to be a lot of people who rent cars from Budget @ MCO, then drop them at the Budget terminal in PC and have Budget drop them at the Port. This would probably be the most cost effective way to travel. You would also be able to stop at Publix (local grocery store) and pick up any water or pop you wanted to take onboard. The drive from MCO to PC is pretty darned quick ... about 45 minutes in most cases (unless there is an accident). If you have a bit of extra time, you can go over to Cocoa Beach and put your toes in the ocean!

DaisyGirl55 Posted July 14, 2006 #4 Share Posted July 14, 2006 It is well worth taking the shuttle, and not really very expensive. They meet you, load your luggage, get you to the port, and all with a minimum of fuss or cost. Happy cruising!
Tammyg Posted July 14, 2006 #5 Share Posted July 14, 2006 Try Art's Shuttle Service. There's been alot of really good comments about them on the boards. I'm sure a quick search on google will probably find them. Hope that helps :)
RSGS315 Posted July 14, 2006 #6 Share Posted July 14, 2006 We have used Art's Shuttle, and they are very reliable. I called them on their 800 number and booked the transfers in advance. The driver met us by the baggage area. He was holding up a sign with our name on it. We would definitely use them again. Ginnie
