Bolongo Bay or Villa in St. Thomas

Recommended Posts

We didn't marry at either of those locations, but just be aware there are dozens of places on St Thomas or nearby St John where you can marry. Gardens, villas, gazebos perched high above the water, beaches, catamarans while sailing in remote places, etc. Lots of options available unless you have narrowed it down to those two choices. We ended up choosing to take the 20-minute ferry to St John and marry on a beach there (reception on catamaran while sailing along St John's north shore) - but used the courthouse on St Thomas (which is what you typically use if marrying on St Thomas or St John since there is no courthouse on St John). Good luck with your planning! The USVI are beautiful!! :) Today a friend announced he is engaged and they are highly considering a beach wedding. He was on our wedding cruise and kept us laughing the entire week. We're excited to find out what they choose for their beach location!! :D

That makes sense then. They were the provider for NCL (our wedding cruise) but we ended up just booking the wedding independently of the ship. I think I recall them using only certain locations when we were gathering info and trying to shop around.

Good luck with your planning! :)

I think I am just going to scratch the idea of St. Thomas altogether. We dock there on a Sunday and I think it is too much trouble not knowing whether the court is open on Sunday and for which hours. I think I am going to go with St. Maarten on the following Monday. I found this coordinator which seems to be good so far. They have responded to my emails consistently pretty quickly and I know that most of the major hotels use their services.
