I agree with Michael, "Just like on shore, the quality of the job done can vary greatly from ship to ship."

 

Also, I never travel with my best clothes nor my valuable jewelry. When something is returned unsatisfactorily from the laundry, I return it to be redone OR if needed immediately I bite the bullet and go to the laundry room where I reiron it myself:o !

 

Fortunately, we have never had anything ruined, just not done to 'perfection':D ........

On the Sapphire, June 2006, the laundry service was the poorest we have encountered...wrinkles, stains, not ironed, burned silk etc. On several other ships, it was okay.
