Any1 know how often they change menu's on ships?

Recommended Posts

In all of our cruises (starting in the '90s) the menus have essentially been the same! (Now the actual food--that's a different story!)

I have a menu from my first cruise in '92 and nothing much has changed..except the quality has declined somewhat...still OK, but not like it used to be...

Saw the menus from Freedom and they are identical to the ones from '92...

I am not sure of the thrust of your question - how often does the menu change? literally, it changes every day on a 7day cruise; anything longer than that, they tend to repeat with some variations. the one menu that doesn't change from day to day is the breakfast menu and then there are usually daily specials that change - that is in the dining room; the windjammer has a wide variety but little variation for breakfast. in restaurants such as chops and portofino, the menu is the same every day with perhaps minor variations for dessert.

Well they sure did remove the Ranch Steak. It is now called something else...same cut of meat though. :) My daughter loves it.

It's now just a top sirloin, which is what is used for ground beef. Just a cheap cut of meat that they can serve every night.
