cb at sea Posted August 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 13, 2006 Yes, you are able to rent a floatation vest. She really should learn to swim, tho--if she can move through the water with a vest on, she should be able to do it without one! Humans float, you know! JasonJ1052 Posted August 13, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 13, 2006 From what I have been able to locate online: The Vest is $6 Fins and a Vest are $15 what my question is, however, is how to we reserve this "partial" excursion. I worry that if we book online at full price (the only option) we'll never be able to get back the difference. (This question only partly applies to Coco Cay as they'll probably never run out of vests and fins, but I am very curious about the stingray excursion in nassau)

suezyq50 Posted August 13, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 13, 2006 There are plenty to rent. I was also concerned if need to rent ahead. I did sign up at the desk on the ship. Life vests are requirred when snorkeling.
MikeySm Posted August 13, 2006 #7 Share Posted August 13, 2006 Great Snorkling at CoCo Cay...I can not swim but have no problem snorkling...You will have to wear the vest and this will make you somewhat restrictive but you will do fine. We have bought our own equipment, including wet suits and skins. You will need a summertime wetsuit or skin for protection from the sun.
