Sands Harbor Hotel & Marina, fort lauderdale

checked the search feature and didn't see anything on this hotel

in fort lauderdale :(

 

It is located on the intercoastal waterway 1 block from the beach

15 miles from the fort lauderdale/hollywood airport

 

so i am assuming its not that far from the fort lauderdale port

(port everglades)

 

i am not gonna say i stole it price wise, but i think i got a fair deal

for my february 2007 carnival liberty, god prices in fort lauderdale are expensive compared to miami.

 

i am assuming we can grab a taxi from the airport to the hotel, and to the cruise port the next day, as there is no mention of a shuttle

 

anybody stay here? what can you tell me about the place?

what was the rough price for the taxi from the airport to the hotel, and to the port?

It's pretty far from the port, 17 miles give or take (18 miles from FLL). Cab fare each way would be at least $35 or more. A shared ride shuttle service from the airport to the hotel costs $15 per person. You may want to consider renting a car, seems that would be your most economical solution. ;)
