Is it still pouring rain in Alaska?

Last week there were some 'live' updates of the terrible weather conditions on the Alaska coast with roads washed out, trains not running, cruise passengers stranded or shore excursions cancelled.

 

I have not seen any new updates or posts on other threads. Anyone out there who is there now or just came back? I have a friend who leaves next week and they are wondering if things are better now?

It isn't raining anymore (well not like it was!) and unfortunately you can't "really" rely on long range forecasts:rolleyes: BUT if you go to www.weather.com you can put in Juneau, Anchorage etc. and pull up the 10 day forecasts.. remember in later season up there it "tends" to be wetter... Just pack your disposable Walmart ponchos and remember that it's always unpredictable in Alaska!
