Why no Serenade cruise on 9/3?

RCCL does not show the Serenade active next week 9/3-9/10. Anyone know why?

wonder if it is a charter or if they are going to fix the azipod that is not working correctly........as long as it is fixed by 9/17 it is ok with me

I just took a quick peek at the Roll call board and didnt see one for the Sept 3rd date.................maybe it is a charter???

Just called RCCL and was told 9/3/06 sailing is a charter.

Ok now that it is a charter, I wonder who? I checked all the usual Gay and Lesbian charter sites but none of them have it booked. What other groups are large enough to charter a whole ship like that?

I tried a google search for Serenade on 09/03/06 and found nothing...so the charter is not advertizing on the web

I knew this forum would not rest till it found an answer! I hadn't considered a charter but it makes sense. Maybe some bigshot company like Microsoft or something???

Sounds like a full ship charter -- better way to go. Being on a ship that is a 1/2 ship charter takes some enjoyment out of the cruise for the other passengers due to lounges being taken over by the big group, better staterooms being booked, sometimes whole dinner seatings being taken up by the group, etc. I try to pick up clues as to whether there is a 1/2 ship charter or huge groups on a sailing when I am booking a cruise
