I got sick of shopping for myself and not finding anything that I like or that fits me and looks ok so I turned my attention to getting some gorgeous outfits for my darling little 2 year old daughter that will be travelling with us on our 19 day QM2 cruise early next year.

Try to picture these on a little blue eyed, fair skinned child, with shirley temple honey blond curls (she reallu has the most beautiful hair - not from me though mines dead straight and dark brown!).

And this last one will be too big, but she will grow and it should fit her for next summer :)

I just thought they were so gorgeous that I couldn't resist. Whilst she won't be staying up late and coming to dinner with us on all the formal nights I want her to have the opportunity of looking gorgeous like everyone else and getting some lovely pictures.

what do you all think?

Really cute!!!

I have a daughter the same age, same description as yours.... LOVE the girly thing!

My older daughter (7yrs old) also loves "to dress" so I have had a lot of fun over the years!

Have a wonderful time on the cruise!

Please post pics when you return so we can all see!

Congrats on you purchases!:D

Darling dresses. I love them and can't wait to see pictures. I have two girls but they are past the age of me dressing them. I use to buy the foo foo dresses also. Now I am in the stage of one getting married next year and the other one buying for homecoming (dressy here). Guess what? They are still buying frilly clothes for special occasions.

Simply adorable.

Oh, how I remember the days when I got to dress up my little daughter. (she had blonde Shirley Temple curls, too :) )

Then she turned 3 and would not put on a dress, ever. I remember the pout, the crossed arms over her chest, the crinkled brow. From then on, she wore only bathing suits with a ballet tutu over it, Barney slippers, her favorite pajamas (also Barney) shorts pulled down under her chubby tummy and shirts that she insisted wiping her smudged face on. Oh...and a feather boa.

I now smile when I see a pretty little girl wearing what others would say "what is that mother thinking?" :p

Enjoy your little princess for as long as you can, it ends sooner than you think!

Love the dresses, very good choices. I am looking for dresses for DD (age 8) today. We have some basic dresses, but I want something a little more dressy for the two formal nights. I know she will not fit into the formal one we got for our March cruise. That one was $7.99 at Marshalls (dirty and needed the seams on the side sewed), but beautiful. Looking for a similar deal today.
