Luau

:p Hi my husband and I will be sailing on POH 10/30/2006. I would like to know where to go for the best laua on the islands. Also has anyone try the Atlantis Submarine Tour who is it. Thanks for all the cruise advise

there is an excursion from the ship to a laua in maui. We did not do it, but heard it was pretty good. There were something like 900 of the people on board who attended that laua. We did Germaines laua in Ohau during our pre cruise stay.

We did the Royal Lahaina Luau on Kaanapali Beach in Maui and found it sensational. Everything I ever imagined in a luau...and at about HALF the cost of the ship and other luaus. We booked it through Boss Frog in Lahaina, Maui. I have a full review of it on Tripadvisor.com and we have not heard such good reports about the ship luaus. We spoke to several folks on our Pride of america cruise in June and they were not at all happy with their ship sponsored luau experience.
