chelsea_gal Posted September 16, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2006 Hi folks Does anyone know if the cruise line allow women to take for their hair a curling Iron Tong? I know that Irons are not allowed but nothing is said about hair tongs Thanks in advance for any replies to this thread....
vikielynne Posted September 16, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2006 I've never had a problem. I think the iron is a no no because it has a larger hot surface that could start a fire easier.
Sheffie Posted September 16, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2006 Curling irons are allowed. I am not exactly sure what a hair tong is though.
cb at sea Posted September 16, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2006 Yes--take whatever you want! Electric rollers are ok, too! If they didn't allow personal grooming items, folks wouldn't cruise, so they can't do that, can they?

dak_friendly Posted September 17, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2006 I was sticking a "ue" at the end of those and wondering if... An Iron Tongue was needed to be able to taste a particularly nasty food item AND A Hair Tongue was what kitty cats have (didn't realize they also ironed their fur while they licked it). chelsea_gal Posted September 17, 2006 Author #7 Share Posted September 17, 2006 Thanks for all the replies ... For those who are some what confused by the hair "tong" comment. Well okay I should have written it in both US English and then done a translation to British English... Anyways do a search in google for Hair tongs and then do a search for "curling" iron and the same types of products will pop up. I will try and remember for future when posting to cruise critics to have my US English dictionary turned on.;)
