crusingforfun Posted October 16, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2006 We'll be in Ft Lauderdale on 12/16 for 12/17 CP sailing. Heard about Winter Boat Parade in Ft. Lauderdale on 12/16. Looking for more info on the Parade. Have you've seen it in the past? Tickets are $18 p/p - is it worse it? Do you have to buy tickets or is there a place where you can view the parade for free? ;)
lindanick Posted October 16, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2006 They have several areas for watching with out paying. The 17th st causeway bridge is where they start, then they end way up the intercoastal. Where are you staying? Linda :)
Rare Coral Posted October 16, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2006 I am disappointed that I will miss it. Our cruise leaves FLL at 5 pm :( It looks like fun. I wonder what the website means when it says "Port Everglades closes at 4". I hope every one makes it to the ship by 4! Here is some info on the parade: http://www.winterfestparade.com/

Linda :) Linda, We'll be staying @ Amerisuites (unless we'll find a better hotel in the area). Does it mean that we can view the parade from the 17th St causeway bridge?
