Facilities are Port Beaches

Going on our first cruise 2007 to St. Thomas, Magens Bay & St. Maarten, Orient Beach. Do the beaches have locker rooms for changing or what is the norm for beach goers?

Most have changing rooms(kinda), but do not have lockers. Take your change of clothes in a workout bag.

Haven't seen changing rooms at Orient Beach in St. Martin, but rest rooms would be available. Or just change in an out of the way area - no one will say anything. We've seen folks do this, or behind the door of their rental car - some change right on the beach using a beach towel (or not even use a towel - it is a clothing optional beach).

I had to chuckle. I certainly can understand our American modesty but the way you phrased it made me laugh. :D Using a towel on a close optional beach.:confused:

Kind of saw that one coming as I was typing "Orient Beach", was thinking "Should get some pretty good answers on this one".

Just don't need those unexpected surprises when we get to the beaches. Want to be prepared.
