Carnival Brides - music question

To all of the past Carnival brides that did not have a DJ, which instrumentalist(s) did you go with? I am trying to decide what the advantages of going with a duet, trio, or quartet are over a single pianist. Anything that you would recommend? Anything that you would do differently?

 

I do not want to be in the disco, therefore, a DJ is out of the question.;)

The choice of musicas well as the size of the wedding determines the location.

 

I had the piano player. It was a very elegant cocktail party reception. I would do it again.

if you have a piano player , will they also play a cd for you - so you can dance to your own picked out music for the father daughter dance?
