5 p's in a pod Posted October 29, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2006 My family and I are looking to go on our second cruise but would like to have a suite that is accessible and would fit the 5 of us and we are willing to go on any cruise line. Any suggestions???
wrp96 Posted October 29, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 29, 2006 There are few cabins on any ship that hold 5 people much less that are handicapped accessible. However, you might have luck finding a handicapped accessible suite that connects to another room. I know RCCL's Freedom of the Seas has a few accessible junior suites that connect to a D1 balcony cabin (1628/1630 and 1238/1330). Same with the Voyager class (1544/1540 and 1244/1240) I don't know about other lines as I'm not familiar with them but I suspect that at least a few of them will have similiar connecting cabins, possibly involving bigger suites. A good travel agent would come in handy in helping find those for you.
Up-in-Ohio Posted October 31, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 31, 2006 We went on the Disney Wonder in June 05. There was enough room for 6 if need be. The room was huge. DW and I slept on a fold out couch while DD and DM slept on the king bed. We still had room for a portable bed or two. It was a handi cap suite over looking the back of the boat.
