On the Dawn, do I need a clothes steamer?

I searched on irons and see I can't bring one but I didn't see any advice of whether or not I should purchase a steamer for the trip. How inconvenient are the irons in the laundry room? Any other advice for a 'wrinkle free' trip?

Lots of irons on the Dawn.. My wife says you meet the nicest people in the laundry.

I would leave the steamer behind. The irons are very accessible on most floors.

Laundry rooms, which are located on every passenger deck near midship - if memory serves, will have irons and ironing boards. As for packing I roll everything in either dry cleaning bags or tissue paper. :)

We always take a small steamer. They are great for a quick shot at minor wrinkles. They are available in dual voltage 110/220. We got ours at online auctions.

I bring one along, and have found it invaluable -- so much easier to get things ready in the cabin as we need them. As well, laundry rooms can get jammed after returns from port and on formal nights.
