Anybody ever use these? I read somewhere that you had to book thru Carnival, but I see expedia is advertising that you can use these. I usually use cruise compete and book with whomever is cheapest. but, I do have a request in from Carnival for a call from a PVP.

Also, does anyone know if you can use these on a 5 day cruise? We are thinking Holiday mid July 07. I prefer a 7 day but my son and his g/f are going so they are limited budget-wise.

My experience is to be very careful and get the directions on how to use them explained to you in writing or so they are very clear. I wasted 20,000 citibank thank you points in 2005 on a RC cruise. I redeemed two $100 gift certificates and thought I knew how the process should work. I was very wrong and I basically just lost out. No discount and no getting back the points. That is a problem with the citirewards program - if you mess up they aren't going to do anything for you. Hope it works for you but I'd be very careful. Good luck!
