Port of LA Car Rental

Anybody rented a car at the port of LA? Are there vans to pick up or on site facilities? What company is the best? Thanks

There is an Enterprise Rental across the street. It's not open on Sunday. Check San Pedro for other companies.

 

We turned our Avis rental in at Long Beach (LB5), stayed overnight near there and took a taxi to the port (about $23 I think).

We've used Enterprise at the Port of LA. They have a van that comes by, but we had to call after waiting for a bit. No problem reserving ahead to pick up at the port and drop off at LAX, and vice versa. Might want to get there early, depending on how many ships are in, as it can get crowded and cars could become unavailable.

We took a cab to Lomitas from the pier (about 20 minutes), it was about 25.00, got a hertz rent a car.
